On the 25th of september 2013 an international conference was held on the implementation of the Declaration on Human Rights Education and Training. This meeting was organised by the International Training Centre for Human Rights and Peace Teaching (CIFDHOP) and the World Association « School as an Instrument for Peace » (EIP). The main purpose was to take into account the Declaration in the frame of the next World Programme on Human Rights Education and Training. This event took place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva on the fringe of the Human Rights Council session.

The meeting aimed to conduct an overview regarding the implementation of the Declaration by looking how it might brings the States to draw their educational policies and set up some pedagogical experiences on the field.
