The Conference on “Human Rights and Democracy in Action - Looking Ahead: The impact of the Council of Europe Charter on Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education” was organised by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg on 29-30 November 2012 in the framework of the Andorran Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers, and in cooperation with the EuropeanCommission and the European Wergeland Centre. The aim of the Conference was to take stock of the results achieved and to plan future co-operation and strategies for the promotion of citizenshipand human rights education through the implementation of the Charter.
