In order to make accessible The Universal Declaration of Human Rights to the people of Côte d’Ivoire, the regional office of UNESCO in Abidjan has had translated that legal instrument in three local languages : baoulé, dioula and guéré. According to Mamadou Gnénéma Coulibaly, the Minister of justice, human rights and civil liberties, this initiative represents a vision through which human rights information and training can decrease their violation.
