Together with children for children : an NGOs resource guide

This resource guide was produced to the attention of non governemental organisation in their support to children and adolescents who are involved in the preparation of reports regarding the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

This publication aims to provide a practical guide in view of facilitating children’s participation through NGOs on all aspects of reporting process on CRC. The guide is based on both NGOs and children experiences and explores issues that NGOs will have to adress to support and promote children involvement. Il also includes brief study cases, practical documents, checklists and tips and tricks that will help children to get involved in the human rights evaluation follow-up.

This guide was written with the collaboration of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, a group of NGOs closely involved in children rights and an international consultative advisory group composed of NGOs and children.
