For the fourth consecutive year, the Education Research Department publishes a survey on acts of violence committed in Geneva’s public schools. As reported for the 2012-2013 school year, the total number of acts of violence of a certain seriousness is decreasing. On the other hand, study shows that pupils are 2 times out of 3 responsible for such violence. Although members of staff are very seldom involved in such acts, it must be pointed out that this year’s percentage goes up as three times higher than the precedent years.
