Migrant families without immigration status must pay thousands of dollars to send their children to school, according to a Canadian Broascasting Corporation (CBC) coverage. Despite some measures taken by the government, the situation remains difficult for the parents and has been denounced by the NGO « Education without frontiers » which calls for free education for all children on Quebec soil. In Toronto and Vancouver all children are admitted in schools as in the United States as well since a Supreme Court ruling.
