During the world summit on sustainable development in September 2015, United Nations' state parties will adopt a new set of objectives for the after 2015 program.
A set of 17 goals covering the period 2015 to 2030 will succeed to the previous 8 objectives of the Millenium.
As underlined by the World Partnership for Education these objectives are closely linked to educational aims. « The new Sustainable Development Goals, The SDGs outline a new and ambitious worldwide effort to reduce poverty and hunger, improve health, enable equality, protect the planet and much more. Real progress will be elusive unless all children receive a quality education.
