Findings show that human rights violations are sufficient enough to say that despite its national and internatinal commitments, the moraccan State does not have the political will that could ensure rights and freedom respect for all.
While torture still remains a fact, detainees are conveniently charged with common crimes in order to avoid true political issues.
The MAHR also points out racist and xenophobic forms of conduct toward subsaharian citizen who are discriminated and still face difficulties with regard to access to health care, education and housing.
