7th International Training Session on the UPR

CIFEDHOP will be holding in Geneva, from October 18th to October 24th 2012, its 7th International Training Session on the UN Human Rights Council Universal Periodic Review (UPR) for educational and civil society organisations. This training session is mainly organised for teachers, educators, researchers, and NGO involved in human rights education.

The Session is organised with the financial support of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Bern, the Canton and the City of Geneva

7th International Training Session

Dear Ms Prindezis
I attended the 18th International Session in July 2000 on teaching human rights for teachers. I was at that time a school teacher in Chennai, India and I sent you posters prepared by my students at the Human Rights seminars and Human Rights Day Programme I had organised at that time.
I have not spent 12 years in France and defended my thesis at the université de Paris 3 (Sorbonne Nouvelle) in 2006. I am now a 'maître de conférences' teaching Legal English at the Université Paris 2 - Panthéon Assas since 2007 and would like to attend the 7th International training session on the UPR. As Human Rights is part of the curriculum I teach, I am keenly interested in attending the session in October 2012.
