Terre des hommes and the United Nations Interagency Panel on Juvenile Justice (IPJJ) published a compendium of international instruments relating to juvenile justice which « aims to provide a tool that will gather together all the texts guaranteeing children’s rights in the systems of justice. »

The charter was agreed in 1215 between King John and a group of leading barons, led by Robert fitzWalter, exasperated at the king's arbitrary rule and high taxes. It was in effect a peace treaty designed to head off armed conflict. It failed.

« Around 63 million adolescents between the ages of 12 to 15 years are denied their right to an education according to a new joint report from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics and UNICEF, "Fixing the Broken Promise of Education for All – Findings from the Global Initiative on Out-of-School Children". The report and related data tool were sponsored by the Global Partnership for Education.
